- Schedule your SAP evaluation: You can complete this evaluation in the SAP’s office or remotely using your smartphone, laptop, or tablet.
- Complete the SAP’s assignment: Depending on your evaluation, your required assignment can range from an online education course to outpatient or residential treatment.
- Attend the Follow-Up Evaluation: After completing the assignment, you will meet a second time to discuss what you learned. This determines your eligibility to return to your current employer or to seek new employment.
Remember, public safety is always the SAP’s top priority. Even though you pay the fee, the public—not you, and not your employer—is their number one client. Keeping this perspective in mind makes the transition back to work much smoother.
